2024 Tacoma Powertrains | Toyota Mid-Sized Truck For Sale
Under the hood, you find a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The SR trim offers 228 horsepower while the other trims feature the new i-FORCE 2.4L turbo that pushes out 278-hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. 6-speed manual transmissions are available, along with and 8-speed automatic transmission, as well. The i-FORCE Max engine steps up in the power arena, pushing out 326 horsepower and a monstrous 465 lb-ft of torque. Both 4WD and RWD drive are also available in the 2024 Toyota Tacoma and all trims feature a body-on-frame construction. When it comes to suspension, the SR, SR5 extended cab, and the TRD PreRunner have traditional leaf springs, whereas the rest have coil springs that provide a smoother ride. And when you get to the Trailhunter and TRD Pro, you'll find underbody protection, 33-inch Goodyear Territory R/T tires, and some exclusive suspension pieces that will help you conquer any terrain.
